About me

When I qualified as a Physiotherapist back in 2001 I was 21 years old with a passion for anything sporty, traveling and socialising with friends.

I started my career pathway in the traditional way and worked within the NHS gaining experience and guidance from more senior staff. I then went on to work within a private sector Physiotherapy clinic and hospital alongside my NHS Job, before taking the leap into self-employment and running my own business.

I truly love my job and being able to help people feel better both physically and mentally. It has allowed me to travel and meet lots of interesting people. I’ve worked in hospitals with the young and elderly, with the England basketball team and spent two winter seasons in the French Alps working as a Physiotherapist in a ski resort.

I decided to branch out into the fitness industry when I realised how many people felt that they could not exercise due to old injuries or ongoing joint problems. Whilst running a Physiotherapy clinic within a gym I was met with several requests for personal training from patients who had been rehabbed back to full fitness and wanted to continue to train under my guidance. Although I felt I had the skills and expertise to do this I decided that I wanted to do it the proper way and therefore under took further study and exams to gain full qualification as a Gym instructor and Personal trainer. I feel exercise is such an important part of our health and wellbeing and everybody should be able to exercise and achieve their goals if given an appropriate exercise program, just like I do for all my patients or personal training clients.

In my early thirties I decided to start my own family and now have two beautiful energetic children. It is through my own experience of having children that led me down the path of becoming more qualified in women’s Health. I studied and gained further qualifications to become a pre and postnatal specialist.

I look forward to meeting you and being able to help you in whatever way I can through the knowledge and skills I have acquired over the years of working in the job I love.
